FreeJump Stirrups were the original innovation of the first horse riding safety stirrups. Designed with a safety in mind, the Freejump Soft’Up Pro Plus Stirrups use a flexible single outer branch that helps the foot release in the event of a fall.

Single-Branch Technology
The SOFT’UP PRO+ stirrups feature a single-branch spring steel design that functions as a suspension system, tripling the reduction of effort on each stirrup. Why are FreeJump Stirrups so good? What do Freejump Stirrups do?

Firstly we believe the Freejump Stirrups are good because of how they help the rider and also the horse. As mentioned above, the stirrups have a flexible outer branch made of Elastollan®.  This helps to free the foot in the event of a fall.

Secondly, the stirrups flex at the lower inside bend of the stirrups. As a result, not only do the stirrups absorb the shockwaves travelling into riders ankles and knees, but also and more importantly reduces the shock travelling across the horses back. This has proven to be very popular with riders that include amateur and professional levels.

Thirdly. This latest edition with the extra wide foot plate and raised pins gives riders an unbelievable grip. With eight metal studs for extra grip positioned cleverly along the tread, therefore gives the foot a better non slip position, again helping the rider with his or her overall riding.

Finally. The angle and position of the stirrup eye, means that if a rider should lose their stirrups when riding, the stirrups naturally fall back into an lateral position, allowing the rider to their foot back in the stirrup.
